The reflective practice journal is a teaching methodology that facilitates the acquisition of professional, attitudinal values and skills, affording comprehensive training by reflecting on experiences that have been lived and showing feelings that, a priori, would be hidden. An existential perspective on meaning, spirituality and authenticity in athletic careers

This research examines athletes’ career paths and reflections of meaning in their sporting practices through an existential psychological lens. Through notions of spirituality and authenticity, we examined how competitive sport practices and bodily movement gain meaning, and often fundamentally shift meaning, in athletes’ lives. Reflective writings with a follow-up from 10 athletes were interpreted through an existential-narrative analysis. Students’ Experiences of Reflective Writing as a Tool for Learning in Physiotherapy Education

The purpose of this study was to examine physiotherapy students’ experiences of reflective writing. The students (n = 32) were asked to video record their practical activities at school and at workplaces, and to write reflective journals on their experiences. The research data about students’ experiences of reflective writing were collected by interviewing the students. The data were analyzed phenomenographically. Valodas apguve parasti notiek, izmantojot četras prasmes: klausīšanos, runāšanu, lasīšanu un rakstīšanu. Rakstīšana tiek uzskatīta par visgrūtāk apgūstamo prasmi. Dienasgrāmatas tika izvēlētas par darbarīku, lai uzlabotu skolēnu rakstītprasmi ar atspoguļojošās rakstīšanas palīdzību. Diplomdarba mērķis bija noskaidrot, kā dienasgrāmatu rakstīšana varētu uzlabot 7. Klases skolēnu rakstītprasmi. Lai sasniegtu šo mērķi, 2016. Gada pavasara semestrī Ogres Valsts ģimnāzijā tika veikts pētījums ar trīspadsmit septītās klases skolēniem. Klasē tika izmēģināti seši dažādi dienasgrāmatu rakstīšanas veidi.
